Default Longest Kick in the AFL

We all know that when the Ch 9 Footy Show used to run the longest kick competition that Benny Graham totally destroyed the competition by smashing everyone.

Who would be the current longest kicker of the pill???

From the Cats I'd be thinking Josh Hunt or Corey Enright would be in the longer kickers at the club.

Who in the league would be the longest nailer of the ball??

Should we bring this great competition back from the dead???

I would like to see the longest kick back, I remember back to my junior years where we had a footy carnival and we tested this. I came about 3rd from memory.

I am not sure who the longest kick is currently, but I have to say I loved Alan Didaks long goal yesterday.

Well I saw Tyson Goldsack kick 3 big torps last week, one going about 80 metres, the others at least 70 metres, never thought he would kick it that far.

I might see if I can put it up on youtube

I've never seen Shannon Hurn kick a barrel but he can kick an absolute monster of a drop punt.

From Collingwood, before the game against Richmond I didn't know that Goldy could kick it that long, a handy skill to have. Travis Cloke has been known to get a bit of distance as well.

And Dids' isn't usually the longest kick. He just hit that unbelievably well. With all due respect to the great man if you asked him to do it again I doubt he could hit one like that terribly often, but who knows.

Didn't before the game have something like this a few years back? One of their Grand Final Specials probably either 2006...or 2007...somewhere around there I remember they also had a mascots thing as well.

Daniel Rich from the Lions I reckon is a long kick.

From the Swans, Daniel Hannebery. Kicked a nice 65 metre goal at the MCG against Hawthorn.

I know they have the grand final sprint but personally i'd prefer this over the sprint any day..

And this one would be a contender except it's not AFL. I think this is Damon White back in 2004.

I think that Goddard one would be the longest kick itself in this thread (probably bar that one in the 80's), it went through at post height but it's hard to tell sometimes because of the crowd.

Yeah, he was reported a few minutes beforehand if I remember correctly. It's tragic that he passed away a couple of years ago.
