Alyson Todd Dining Table November 30th, 2018 - 03:38:48
We are going to be doing a great and white dining room makeover. Gray and white dining room makeover, so let's get started with tip number one. Okay, so tip number. One also has to do with the console. So, as you can see on the console, I have a lot of height, and so I did not want a tall centerpiece in the middle of the dining table since it is so close to the console. I didn't want them competing for attention. So what I wanted to do is I needed to find a centerpiece. That was bold enough to be interesting, but also not too tall or too grand to compete with what I have going on on the console. So I went to Z gallery I'm going to show you what I found so as you can see that centerpiece is a perfect match, but I don't like things too matchy-matchy. So what I did is I actually cut a leaf off my plant right here. Just to see if I liked it before, I went and bought one, and I placed it in between the centerpiece and the table to break out the silver on silver and to add a little bit of dimension and texture.
My next tip for the centerpiece was to add some volume, so I bought three faux air plants and I got them in white because of the fact that there are punches of white in each room. So I like to tie in the decor. So I did that using faux air plants and those are gonna place in the middle of the centerpiece. Moving on, I love having candles on the table, so I purchased two crystal candle holders with two white candles. Moving on to the settings, I saved some money by only buying the chargers and the napkins and the napkin rings. I'm gonna go ahead and use white dishes from Ikea, but for decor purposes. This is plenty to go ahead and decorate your table without spending too much money and then the placemats I got underneath those are for Ross, so you can get packs those at Ross like five dollars so together, mixing the cheap with the expensive really gave me. The look I was going for. I did make a design choice on the chairs. I ended up going with acrylic chairs just because I'm not dealing with a large space here in the living room.
The dining room shares the same room. So the acrylic chair has made it seem a lot airier and it ties in the acrylic cam. I start with crystal the crystal candle holders I put on top but they're both clear, so it tied in that look, and I got all four chairs on. Let go for $ 100, so I thought that was a killer score. So once I had the table done, I kind of stepped back and I looked at the whole thing and I'm like you know what I love the acrylic chairs, but I do want to turn up the glam just a little bit. So I went to Target and I scored these faux fur pelts they're from Project 62 I bought for them and I laid each one over the chair, they're $ 20 each and that wrapped up my decor. Hopefully, some of these tips were inspiring to you. I have changed my keeping room. If you guys did not get to see my black of my patio makeover is only part one go ahead and click the link above so so cute and today I'm going to be wrapping up the other half it's so hot outside. So I'm gonna wait till later to go pick up the chairs and the grass and everything I need to do, but I did learn that my garden pots were toxic. They were made of pre-treated wood, so I had those ripped out.
